Feng Shui is the study of how CHI (energy) flows through an environment, the EFFECTS that energy has on its inhabitants, and the calculated direction of that energy to facilitate positive change in a person's life or business.

"Feng Shui is a combination of energy work,  astrology,  home staging and acupuncture for your environment. We utilize the ancient Chinese knowledge and integrate the elements into your home to create the most auspicious, comfortable and healing environment possible."

Feng Shui is a set of principles and beliefs (however, not religious) derived by the Chinese thousands of years ago. There are many other cultural forms incorporating the same or similar principles as Feng Shui all over the world. There are also many different schools of thought involved in the teachings of feng Shui. At Blue Lotus, we practice Classical Feng Shui principles including the following: Flying Stars, Intentional, and the Form School of Feng Shui.

Feng Shui focuses on the energy within a space, whether that energy feels positive or negative, how it flows through the space (or if it is "stuck") and how the people that gather in a space as well as the furnishings leave energetic impressions in the environment. Our consultants then take what they observe and learn from a space and then direct it to transform the clients life.

Types of Feng Shui that We Practice:

Form School Feng Shui:

Form feng Shui is the study of how energy flows inside and outside of a home or business due to both natural and manmade influences. This can involve looking into surrounding landscape outside of the home and shapes and energy flow inside the home. When assessing form feng shui, we delve into the energy of the space and how Chi is able to flow throughout the space and if it gets "stuck" or stabbed by "poison arrows". When furniture placement is assessed, this falls under Form Feng Shui.

Intentional Feng Shui (Based on Compass Directions):

With intentional Feng Shui, we use a Bagua map and the home's floor plan to map out the intentional areas of the home. We then make recommendations based on the areas of the home in relation to the areas of one's life that they correspond to. Here is a sample Bagua map:

Flying Stars/ "Classical Feng Shui":
Flying stars Feng shui takes into account the year the home was built and the direction that it faces and calculates that home's astrological inclinations. With this information, we can determine what issues the home is destined to have and make suggestions to remedy these issues. We don't always delve into flying stars Feng Shui as it is often the hardest to implement all of the remedies, but when we do, it is usually to help with the following reasons:

  • Serious health issues for the occupants

  • Accidents

  • Infertility issues

  • One person in the home is strongly under-supported

  • To assist someone in finding love

  • Healing marital dis-ease
